Under Violet Lights

A fantasy romance featuring a guarded supernatural officer, a stubborn night-shift baker, sentient-adjacent shadow magic, and, protective instincts gone romantic.

Ravenna Carmine has spent six years working the night shift at a bakery in Respa, serving strong coffee, cookies, and somewhere warm to sit to the people who wander in after midnight.

One of those regulars is Officer Alico Argent.

Alico always orders the same smoked tea, sits where he can watch both entrances, and pretends not to notice when Ravenna slips a complimentary treat beside his cup.

When a rogue Umbral crawls out of the darkness and Alico comes to her rescue, Ravenna discovers that Respa's old supernatural horrors were never quite as extinct as everyone was told.
